An Indian adaptation of a pioneering method

भारतVann

Dense Native Forests for a Green Bharat

Dense native forests shaped by Indian ecosystems, natural soil inputs and locally practical plantation techniques.

The approach

Inspired by Miyawaki. Adapted for Bharat.

Dr. Akira Miyawaki's pioneering approach to dense native forests inspired our work. After applying and learning from the methodology across Indian landscapes, Forest Creators developed Bharat Vann to suit local weather, soil, labour and site conditions.

Bharat Vann adapts spacing, pit preparation, irrigation and maintenance rather than treating every location as identical.

How it works

Local ecology. Natural inputs. Practical execution.

Native species

Species are selected for the local ecosystem and site conditions.

Natural soil enrichment

Inputs include cow dung, compost, jeevamrut and other natural Indian ingredients.

Indian site adaptation

Plant spacing, pit preparation, irrigation and maintenance are adjusted for local climate, soil and labour practices.

Built from field experience

Our wider forest-creation work spans 12 Indian states and more than 3.5 million trees. Bharat Vann draws on those field learnings to make dense native forest creation practical in varied Indian conditions.

Implementation details and project-specific outcomes should be reviewed with the Forest Creators technical team before a site plan is finalised.
